We deliver the portable buildings we build, including storage sheds, lofted barns, portable garages, cabins, greenhouses, and custom-built structures. Each building is built before it leaves, then transported to your property.

Yes. Schrocks offers free standard delivery within 70 miles of our lot in Clayton, Illinois. That includes Quincy, Camp Point, Liberty, Colchester, Carthage, Mt. Sterling, Golden, and many communities around them.

Standard delivery includes unloading, positioning, and leveling. You pay only for the concrete blocks we use. If you’re outside our free delivery area, contact us for a delivery quote.

Yes. Every building is built before it leaves, including garages, cabins, and greenhouses. Your building arrives assembled, so there’s no extended on-site construction project.

Our crew handles unloading, positioning, and leveling. Any additional finishing work or site improvements are separate from standard building delivery.

Start by choosing where you’d like your building placed. Make sure there’s a clear route from the road to that location, and check for gates, fences, trees, overhead wires, slopes, and other obstacles.

Also consider the ground where the building will sit. Let us know about uneven terrain, soft soil, drainage issues, or difficult access before delivery day. Photos of the spot and the way in help.

For a small or medium building set in a yard on grass or dirt, concrete cap or paver blocks work well. A level gravel pad is best for any size and highly recommended for garages and large buildings, and concrete or pavement works great too.

Whatever you choose, plan for rainwater to drain away from the building. Talk with us before you pour concrete or build a pad.

Allow about 2 feet of extra width beyond the building, and 6 feet of clearance at each end. For example, a 20-foot shed needs about 32 feet of length to deliver and position.

In many cases, yes. Our delivery trailer and Mule are made to move buildings into yards that are hard to reach.

However, larger buildings need room to maneuver. Gates, fences, overhead obstacles, slopes, and ground conditions can affect what we’re able to deliver.

Our crew brings your completed building to your property, unloads it, and moves it into the agreed-upon location.

We level and support the building on concrete blocks and check its level and door operation before finishing. We carry everything needed on the truck, and you pay only for the blocks we actually use.

Permit and zoning requirements depend on your location, the size of the building, and its intended use.

A portable storage shed may have different requirements than a garage, greenhouse, workshop, or cabin intended for living space.
